The goal of the Association is to foster cooperation among all professional football players engaged in the business and industry of promotion and marketing of themselves, their images, likenesses, persona and memorabilia related to their performances as players in the National Football League. To that end, the Association will sponsor fund raising events, such as concerts, golf tournaments and other sporting events. The purpose of all activities is to raise awareness of and to promote the recognition of the retired players. The Association will offer education programs and newsletters to members. In addition, the Association may participate in lobbying efforts to promote interest in the licensing, royalties, merchandising and appearances for the membership.

  • Provide financial assistance to players in dire need.
  • Provide medical and psychological assistance not covered through insurance and/or disability, especially health related impairments caused by their playing football.
  • Provide placement and support assistance to those players who have substance abuse dependencies.
  • Provide counseling assistance during the transition from football into the private sector. To include career counseling and job placement and transitional and family counseling.
  • Build brand for the retired players and their businesses.
  • Better utilize the business network of retired professional football players
